Matthew Schroeder has lived in Ramsey for 12 years with his wife and three children. He is the Chairperson of the Ramsey Municipal Alliance.

A local graduate of Wayne Valley High School (class of 1996), Matthew went on to Dartmouth College, where he graduated in 2000 as a member of the varsity football team and the undefeated Ivy League Championship squad. He received his law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2008.

Matthew is a senor trial attorney at Davis, Saperstein & Salomon, P.C., where he represents individuals in personal injury matters in New York and New Jersey.

Drawing on his background as a competitive Division I athlete, Matthew brings dedication, teamwork, and strong advocacy skills to his role leading the RMA. As Chairperson, he is committed to the RMA’s mission of fostering healthy communities, supporting families, and reducing substance misuse through education and collaboration with local partners. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching, and practicing jujitsu.
