Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics New Jersey
Ramsey students can be a part of this statewide event to raise awareness for the athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey by running alongside local Law Enforcement officials as they carry the “Flame of Hope” through Ramsey.

About the Event
Students must complete a permission slip and submit it to their school or Ramsey Police Department by Friday 5/20.
Students can be a part of this statewide event to raise awareness for the athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey by running alongside local Law Enforcement officials as they carry the “Flame of Hope” through their town. All it takes to participate is a minimum donation of $20 per student. All proceeds support Special Olympics New Jersey athletes.
Students and officers will gather at ShopRite on the morning of June 10. They will receive the Torch from Mahwah at approximately 7:45-8:00 a.m. Students and officers will run through Ramsey carrying the Torch and students in grades 4-12 will be dropped off at their respective schools along the route.
