About the Event
On Tuesday October 10th, Ramsey Municipal Alliance with host The Black Poster Project at Ramsey High School. The Silent Memorial will be open to the public at 6 p.m. and a panel of speakers will present at 7 p.m. Please join us for this important and impactful event in a community effort to raise awareness about addiction.
The Black Poster Project is an addiction and overdose awareness group that travels with Silent Memorials in the form of hundreds of posters of people who lost their lives because of their personal battle with addiction. Attendees can walk through the poster display at their own pace reading the stories of each lost soul.
Community services will be available to provide support and resources, including free Narcan kits and Fentanyl testing strips. Light refreshments will be served. RMA is grateful to be partnering with several community resources to offer this event: Ramsey School District, The Black Poster Project, Alumni In Recovery, The Center for Alcohol and Drug Resrouces, West Bergen Mental Healthcare, Mid-Bergen Regional Health Commission, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, Mountainside Treatment Center, and Ramsey Shoprite.
